Have you ever met a foal that stood still and enjoyed being clipped? What an experience! This little guy watched mommy get clipped and was very excited for his turn. He didn't much care about his legs being touched by the clipper, but when we scratched his hip he forgot his inconvenience!
He is like a big teddy bear; soft and sweet. He LOVES people and is so gentle.
Khemosabi is still most comfortable at the side of his dam; but when he starts getting fiesty he is a big show off just the same. He is cute; though, when he realizes he has ventured away from mommy.
Khemosabi is putting on good weight; so we are sure to let him run daily. He needs to build his muscles with all that nutrition.
This is my nephew, Trevor, visiting the new baby.
Can you see Khemosabi's blue eyes?
Khemosabi is relaxing with mommy after his first bath.
This little guy is being a good boy for his photo shoot. He was very still for his pedigree photos and we finished very quickly.
Khemosabi is very smart and cooperative. He already has a 'want to please' attitude; which we love about him. It takes nothing but praise to teach this guy. And he cooperates even when he is not quite sure what we are doing. He is going to be a pleasure to his trainer.
Well ... he looks gray but that doesn't mean a thing. We think he may be a smokey black or buckskin. We will just have to wait to see. Any color will be the perfect color with those beautiful blue eyes as accents.
This is Khemosabi at just 4 days old; having a nice visit with our little orange tabby cat, Cowboy. Khemo LOVES the farm kitties and when he sees them he anxiously runs to them for a visit.
Khemosabi LOVES his new ball. He spent hours chasing it about.
